![]() 'Dark Star-North Channel liners Expedition 2002' Leigh Bishop Myself and Chris Hutchison (whom still has his old CBear in use) have just returned from diving the Transylvania a 17,000 ton liner sunk in 135m of water 50miles North of Donegal Ireland. We spent 23 mins at 130m which put us in the water just 20 mins short of 5 hours. Quite possible the longest in water decompression/wreck dive in British waters. If I had a problem with the cold I simply would tell you however neither of us did, the Boredom was our main concern. If at any time throughout this dive the cold had become a concern then perhaps your suits were not doing there job. However it wasn't! I'm a great believer, that if you do not think of a piece of equipment during a dive then someone brings it to your attention after then its doing its job. |
